Bread of the Mighty Food Bank

Who We Are

Bread of the Mighty Food Bank (BOTM) was established in 1987 to serve the counties of Alachua, Lafayette, Levy, Dixie and Gilchrist in North Central Florida.  BOTM functions by acquiring, storing and distributing food and basic essentials via the support of 150+ agency partners which include soup kitchens, food pantries and shelters.

In North Central Florida, hunger affects 61,090 members of the general population of which 14,570 are children.  That means 1 in 5 adults and 1 in 4 local children are hungry.  For every $1 donated, BOTM can provide seven meals to those in need.
